Software Engineer

Location: Remote (North America or Australia time zones preferred)

The Role:
Dicom Systems is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our team.

Technical Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, architect, document and implement complex enterprise imaging
    software for applications in healthcare industry, using C/C++, Perl, and LUA, from requirements definition to design, implementation, testing and deployment.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of standards, code libraries and processes to improve productivity and code quality, using XML, Javascript, CSS, jQuery, WebServices and AngularJS web-enabling technologies, SOAP and REST web-services, and Git configuration management tool.
  • Contribute to the implementation of various software engineering disciplines, including architecture, systems, technical low- and high-level coding, networking, design patterns, branch management strategies, and CM processes.

Preferred Experience and Education

  • MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Two years of professional experience in a similar role.
