Dicom Systems Launches New Imaging Data Supply Chain Dedicated to Machine Learning, Collaborates with Google Cloud

Dicom Systems joins Google Cloud Platform as an Authorized Technology Partner to Launch Global Imaging Data Lake for Machine Learning

 

Campbell, CA, November 27, 2017 – Dicom Systems, Inc. (www.dcmsys.com), a Silicon Valley-based health IT company specializing in Enterprise Imaging interoperability, announced today their collaboration with Google Cloud as a Technology Partner to launch a hybrid cloud VNA, de-identification, and imaging data supply chain platform. Now available on Google Launcher, customers can deploy the Dicom Systems Universal Cloud Archive Adaptor in minutes to test drive the cloud-based medical imaging library. Customers pay only for what they use and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) may yield up to 60% operating cost savings over other cloud providers.¹ As an added incentive, optional participation in a de-identified imaging data lake earns customers a rebate on their operating cost. 

The company unveiled the Universal Cloud Archive Adaptor this week at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL. “We are proud to announce a relationship with Google Cloud that cuts the traditional VNA cost in half while delivering on performance, security and scalability. The Universal Cloud Archive Adaptor is the point of origin in a data supply chain that will serve the medical imaging research and development market,” said Dmitriy Tochilnik, President and CTO of Dicom Systems. “We believe this is how the imaging community should crowdsource for health data: by bringing customers to the frontline where they can innovate alongside us.”

The Universal Cloud Archive Adaptor was designed to make cloud adoption simple while solving a number of concerns for healthcare organizations. The solution integrates with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems. There are no migration costs or termination fees.
