Scott Mallonee
Senior Solutions Architect
Scott Mallonee serves as Senior Solutions Architect at Dicom Systems, where he works with healthcare organizations to design and optimize enterprise imaging workflows. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare technology, Scott specializes in DICOM, PACS, HL7, clinical workflows, system integration, and standards-based imaging infrastructure.
Before joining Dicom Systems, Scott spent more than 21 years at Medicor Imaging, a division of LEAD Technologies, advancing from Implementation and Technical Support Manager to Director of Business Development. He led enterprise imaging implementations for dental schools, the United States Air Force, and the Department of Veterans Affairs before assuming responsibility for enterprise revenue growth, account strategy, and sales execution. During his tenure, Scott helped grow annual revenue from approximately $1 million to more than $8 million while expanding deployments across more than 70 dental schools, 2,500 dental service organization practices, and 120 Department of Veterans Affairs dental clinics.
Scott has led integrations with Epic, axiUm, Dentrix Enterprise, and Cerner to support interoperability across complex clinical environments. He also served as a voting member of the American Dental Association Standards Committee on Dental Informatics. His technical expertise and collaborative approach help him bridge clinical, operational, and technical requirements to support scalable enterprise imaging strategies.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Outside of work, he enjoys technology, music, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
